Meet Charles Levison: A Multitalented Visual Artist, Filmmaker, and Educator
With over a decade of experience, Charles Levison is a creative force to be reckoned with. His skills range from impressionistic painting to web development, and digital media. Currently, he holds two esteemed positions – General Secretary for the Visual Arts Association of Malawi and Vice General Secretary for the Film Association of Malawi.
Charles has an impressive list of accomplishments, including:
- Successfully organized two art projects, "Art with Tea" and "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind Inspired Exhibition," which raised funds for needy students.
- Secured funding from COSOMA for the "ART CYCLE MALAWI" project to promote community support for waste management through art.
An advocate for art and film’s power to bring about positive change, Charles is dedicated to empowering communities, promoting environmental consciousness, and bringing Malawian art to the global stage. His leadership skills and ability to manage projects are evident from his track record of building partnerships, securing sponsorships, and mobilizing teams to achieve a shared vision.
